Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has instructed the Iraqi Artists Syndicate to cover all medical expenses for artist Ayad al-Taie’s treatment in India.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Artists Syndicate revealed that the Prime Minister’s directive ensures that the costs will be covered by the Prime Minister’s grant to the Artists’ Solidarity Fund. This initiative underscores the government’s support for artists in need of medical assistance.
The statement further mentioned that the Syndicate, led by its head Jabbar Judi and his deputy, artist Asia Kamal, has been actively engaged in overseeing al-Taie’s treatment. They have been in constant communication since the artist’s departure to India, ensuring his health and treatment progress are closely monitored.
