Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed the importance of integrated work between the legislative and executive authorities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received the head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna Abdul Samad al-Samarrai, along with members of the Alliance from the House of Representatives, Provincial Councils, and the Political Bureau. The meeting focused on reviewing the general situation, assessing the progress of the government’s service program, and discussing aspects of economic reform.

The Prime Minister highlighted the necessity of integration between the legislative and executive branches to enhance service provision, address development needs, and fulfill the requirements of citizens throughout Iraq. Al-Sudani also outlined the government’s measures to ensure the success of upcoming elections, beginning with the legislative elections set for November. Furthermore, he reiterated the administration’s dedication to achieving service and economic targets, supporting Iraq’s steadfast positions on regional matters, and shielding the nation from the impacts of ongoing conflicts.
