Suspect Arrested with Over 100 Electronic Cards at Baghdad Airport

Baghdad: A suspect accused of smuggling money was arrested with 113 electronic cards in his possession at Baghdad International Airport.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi National Security Service announced the arrest, detailing that the operation was carried out in coordination with the General Authority of Customs. The arrest followed an intelligence monitoring and follow-up operation.

The Iraqi National Security Service revealed that the suspect was apprehended before he attempted to travel. In addition to the 113 electronic cards, he was found with a number of national cards and SIM cards. The agency confirmed that the accused has been referred to the competent judicial authorities to complete investigations and take legal action against him.
