Brussels: The European Commission has renewed its call for the Israeli occupation to immediately lift the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian aid to be allowed into the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Commission Spokesman Anwar al-Anuni expressed deep concern regarding reports that food supplies brought into Gaza during the ceasefire are depleting. Al-Anuni stressed the importance of lifting the blockade to ensure the widespread and timely flow of humanitarian aid, highlighting the potential consequences any delay could have on the lives of civilians and children in Gaza.
