Baghdad: President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, engaged in discussions regarding the state of Iraqi universities and colleges and the educational progress of the country with Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, at the Baghdad Palace. The President emphasized the importance of advancing education to elevate the status of Iraqi universities.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President highlighted the necessity of focusing on graduating students by enrolling them in development courses prior to their appointments. This initiative aims to enhance their experience, skills, and technical qualifications, ultimately aiding their adaptation to the work environment and contributing to national progress and development. The President also underscored the importance of expanding the scholarship system to motivate students to persist in their educational pursuits.
