Baghdad: The Spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces announces to NINA that al-Sudani has approved the security, media, and service plans for the Arab Summit in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official Spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Numan, stated that Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, has given his approval for the comprehensive plans to ensure a successful Arab Summit in Baghdad. These plans encompass security, logistics, and media arrangements, all of which have been meticulously reviewed by the Prime Minister.

Al-Numan elaborated that the approved plans include a comprehensive security strategy designed to safeguard the summit’s proceedings. Full coordination is underway among all security and intelligence agencies, as well as military units, under the direct oversight of the Joint Operations Command. The coordination will begin with the arrival of leaders at Baghdad Airport and extend through to the summit venue.

The security measures have been crafted to be both flexible and comprehensive, avoiding any curfews or roadblocks to minimize disruptions for the residents of Baghdad. The aim is to maintain normalcy in the city while ensuring the summit’s security.

In addition to security, al-Numan highlighted a detailed media strategy for the summit, which presents an opportunity for Arab and international media outlets to visit Baghdad. This will help convey a positive image of Iraq, showcasing the country’s stability and recent developments.

Al-Numan emphasized the significance of the summit, describing it as an opportunity to present Iraq’s progress to the world. He also noted ongoing improvements in Baghdad’s infrastructure, highlighting reconstruction efforts, bridge constructions, and road openings that have positively impacted the capital.
