New Delhi: The Indian Army announced Saturday morning that it is committed to de-escalation with Pakistan, provided the latter does so. The statement comes amid heightened tensions between the two countries, following recent military engagements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Indian Army stated that it had targeted radar systems and technical bases in Pakistan after coming under attack. The statement detailed that damage was inflicted on the Pakistani army in response to its use of artillery fire against Indian positions.

The Indian Army further explained that Pakistan had targeted medical and educational facilities in the Indian-administered part of Kashmir. In retaliation, Indian forces struck radar systems and technical bases on the Pakistani side, aiming to neutralize ongoing threats.

The statement also addressed the Pakistani shelling, noting it caused limited damage to equipment and personnel at some Indian military bases. Despite these exchanges, the Indian Army emphasized its readiness to de-escalate, contingent on reciprocal actions from Pakistan.

The Indian Army also highlighted that Pakistan is reinforcing its troop deployment along the border and has attempted air infiltration in 26 locations. These developments underscore the need for cautious monitoring of the situation to prevent further escalation.
