Baghdad: Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, arrived in Wasit Governorate and engaged in pivotal discussions with the local government. Abdullah emphasized the importance of collaboration during his meeting with the Wasit authorities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdullah stated, “We discussed with Wasit government a number of important issues related to the governorate’s entitlements, and ways to enhance joint work and cooperation between the Council of Representatives and Wasit local government, both legislative and executive, to move forward in improving and developing services provided to the generous citizens of Wasit in various sectors.”

In response, Wasit Governor Mohammed Jamil Al-Mayyahi expressed gratitude towards Abdullah for his dedication and cooperative approach. Al-Mayyahi highlighted the Deputy Speaker’s professional efforts in addressing key issues and supporting initiatives that benefit the nation and its people.
