Baghdad: Head of the Azm Alliance, Engineer Muthanna Al-Samarrai, met with President of the Republic Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid today, Sunday, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad. They discussed a number of national issues, most notably supporting national partnership paths, enhancing fair representation of governorates, and enabling them to fulfill their role in construction and reconstruction.

According to a statement by Al-Samarrai’s office, the meeting addressed developments in the political scene, the need to preserve national unity, and adopt dialogue as a means to address challenges, thus enhancing stability and establishing balance in state administration.

During the meeting, Al-Samarrai praised the role played by the Presidency of the Republic in ensuring respect for the constitution, protecting national pluralism, and the President’s positions in supporting national understandings and preserving the country’s democratic path.
