Baghdad: US President Donald Trump has expressed his approval of recent talks held between the United States and China in Switzerland, highlighting the discussions as a “complete reset” of bilateral relations. The talks were characterized by a “friendly but constructive” atmosphere, according to Trump.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Trump took to his social media platform, “Truth Social,” to share his thoughts on the meeting. He described the discussions as “excellent,” mentioning that both countries engaged in dialogue on numerous topics and reached several agreements.

The US President specifically noted that economic and trade issues were a focal point of the talks. He emphasized Washington’s interest in seeing “a greater Chinese openness to American companies,” which he believes would benefit both nations. Trump concluded by stating, “A lot of progress has been made.”
