Baghdad: The Arab Summit Media Committee confirmed the great satisfaction of Arab and foreign press delegations with the organization of the Arab Summit and the warm welcome they received from the Iraqis. Member of the Media Committee, Haider Majeed, informed the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) about the positive feedback received from the visiting delegations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Majeed shared details of the summit’s schedule, noting that today’s agenda is focused solely on the meeting of Arab foreign ministers. A statement will be released after the meeting to outline its outcomes. He further explained that the participating delegations will have a break on Friday, with the main Arab summit commencing on Saturday morning at the level of kings, presidents, and their representatives. Additionally, a development summit is scheduled for Saturday evening.
Majeed emphasized the anticipation surrounding the outcomes of the Arab Summit in Baghdad, which will be formally presented in an official statement after the main summit concludes. He also highlighted the positive feedback from all Arab and foreign journalists and media professionals regarding the warm reception and the administrative organization of the event.
Journalists and media personnel were given a tour of Baghdad, accompanied by the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Mu’ayyad Al-Lami. They visited various parts of the capital, including the cities of Kadhimiya and Adhamiya, where they observed reconstruction efforts and received a warm reception from the locals. The press center for the Arab Summit also received commendations for its comprehensive facilities.
