Baghdad: Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit expressed his deep gratitude for the distinguished performance, interaction, and organization at the recent Baghdad Summit, emphasizing that the renaissance and development observed in Baghdad send a true message of recovery.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a press conference, Aboul Gheit highlighted the significance of Iraqi diplomacy, noting its capacity to positively respond to the changing events in the region. He emphasized that the interaction of Iraqi diplomacy is another important message of recovery.

He further elaborated on the series of initiatives proposed by Iraq, stating that they reflect a newfound vitality in Iraqi performance. Aboul Gheit praised the idea of the Council of Arab Trade Ministers, presented by Iraq, as a significant development. This initiative, he explained, will facilitate coordination and the exchange of ideas and procedures, aiming for tangible results to be implemented by the Ministerial Council of the Arab League.
