Washington: The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced a decline in Iraqi exports to the United States last week.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the EIA released a table indicating that the average US crude oil imports from ten major countries amounted to 5.365 million barrels per day. This figure marks an increase of 96,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week’s average of 5.269 million barrels per day.

The EIA reported that the average Iraqi oil exports to the United States were 152,000 barrels per day. This represents a decrease of 77,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week’s total of 229,000 barrels per day. The largest oil imports to the United States last week were sourced from Canada, followed by Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico.

The table also highlighted that US crude oil imports continued to be sourced from Nigeria, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, and Libya.
