Beijing: China affirmed its continued efforts to find a political and diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear issue. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian stated at a regular press conference that China is committed to resolving the issue through diplomatic means.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lin emphasized China’s dedication to addressing the Iranian nuclear situation by political and diplomatic means. He noted China’s attention to Iran’s pledge not to develop nuclear weapons and its respect for Iran’s right to use nuclear energy peacefully. Lin also expressed China’s opposition to all illegal and unilateral sanctions.

Lin further elaborated on China’s readiness to maintain communication and coordination with relevant parties. He stressed China’s willingness to play a constructive role in achieving a solution that addresses the reasonable concerns of all involved. This approach aims to preserve the international nuclear non-proliferation regime and promote peace and stability in the Middle East region.
