Baghdad: Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, has directed that all necessary facilities be provided to the NATO mission in Iraq to ensure the success of its advisory mission.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement indicating that Al-Sudani received the new commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, Christoph Hentze. During the meeting, Al-Sudani emphasized Iraq’s commitment to maintaining a strong relationship with NATO, referencing achievements from the High-Level Dialogue meeting in Brussels last year and the preparations underway for the second meeting in Baghdad.

The directive from the Commander-in-Chief focuses on ensuring that the NATO mission receives all required support to facilitate its advisory role. This initiative aims to foster an effective partnership through joint planning and coordination.
