Nineveh: A force from the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) successfully arrested a terrorist after luring him into a trap in Nineveh Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Commission released a statement detailing the operation. The statement revealed that the arrest was executed by the 30th Brigade’s Intelligence Service, operating under the Nineveh Operations Command. Utilizing accurate intelligence, the force set up a well-planned ambush at one of the entrances to the Nineveh Plains, where they captured the wanted terrorist identified as “M. S.”

The apprehended individual is facing charges under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law due to his previous involvement with the group known as the “Islamic Police.” Following his capture, the terrorist was handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and processing.
