Khartoum: The Sudanese Army announced this afternoon the complete clearing of the capital, Khartoum, of any presence of the Rapid Support Forces. This declaration marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to stabilize the region and restore order.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Sudanese Army emphasized its commitment in a statement: “We renew our pledge to the people to continue our efforts until every inch of our country is cleared of every rebel, traitor, and agent.” This statement underlines the determination of the Sudanese military leadership to maintain control and security within the nation’s capital.
Additionally, Mohamed El-Gali Ali Youssef, Secretary-General of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, confirmed the completion of the first phase of the Republican Palace rehabilitation project in Khartoum. He highlighted the progress made in inventory and security operations, stating that 90% of the clearing operations have been successfully completed. The project aims to be finalized before the Eid al-Adha holiday, marking a pivotal step in the restoration and stabilization efforts in the capital.
