Paris: French Prime Minister François Bayrou affirmed that the movement led by France, the United Kingdom, and Canada to recognize a Palestinian state “will not stop,” following those countries’ threats to take action against the Zionist entity if it does not halt its devastating aggression on the Gaza Strip.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Bayrou told the French National Assembly on Tuesday: “For the first time, three major countries-Britain, France, and Canada-have decided that they will jointly oppose what is happening in the Gaza Strip and jointly recognize the State of Palestine.”
He added that this movement, which was launched to recognize a Palestinian state, will not stop, explaining that the repeated condemnations and warnings issued by those countries are completely clear in their intent and are their duty.
It is noteworthy that the leaders of France, the United Kingdom, and Canada announced on Monday that they “will not stand idly by” in the face of the “shameful acts” committed by the
Zionist entity in Gaza, threatening to take “concrete measures” if the Zionist entity does not halt its military offensive and does not allow humanitarian aid into the Strip.
