Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced the launch of the National Security Strategy (2025-2030).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from his media office indicated that Al-Sudani congratulated the national elite appointed from across state institutions to implement this strategy, affirming his earnest support for its implementation.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the importance of this strategy lies in its protection of the country’s supreme interest, the construction of a diversified and sustainable economy, and the adoption of a service system commensurate with the aspirations of the people.

He stated that ‘we all bear the responsibility of building and protecting our homeland and its sanctities, in accordance with a secure and fully sovereign Iraq, to achieve stability and development.
