Baghdad: President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, to discuss political and security developments in the region and the significance of bolstering relations on both regional and international stages.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting underscored Iraq’s commitment to fostering joint action and tackling regional challenges, as emphasized in the decisions of the recent Baghdad Summit. President Rashid highlighted the summit’s role in enhancing solidarity and integration to support the Palestinian cause and other Arab issues.
Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein expressed his gratitude for the President’s backing of the summit held in Baghdad. He also elaborated on the strategies for implementing the summit’s outcomes, which aim to strengthen Iraq’s international relations.
