Baghdad: Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, emphasized the significance of exchanging legal expertise in constitutional justice with Romania. He noted that the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq of 2005 laid down fundamental principles of rights, freedoms, the structure of constitutional institutions, and a fair electoral system.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the judiciary revealed that Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud hosted the Romanian Ambassador to Iraq, Radu Octavian Dobre, along with his delegation at the Federal Supreme Court’s headquarters.
The discussions between the two parties focused on strengthening relations between Iraq and Romania, particularly in enhancing joint cooperation within the judicial field.
