Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Monday that Iran will continue to endure and find means to sustain itself even in the absence of negotiations with the United States concerning its nuclear program.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Pezeshkian was quoted by state media emphasizing Iran’s resilience, expressing that Iran will not collapse under new sanctions or the lack of diplomatic talks with the US. He asserted, “It’s not as if we will starve to death if they refuse to negotiate with us or impose sanctions on us. We will find a way to survive.”

Additionally, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei reinforced the stance that Tehran is unwilling to accept a temporary suspension of uranium enrichment as a condition for reaching a nuclear agreement with the United States. During a press conference, Baghaei highlighted that a halt in uranium enrichment is seen as a “red line” by Tehran in any negotiations and also mentioned that no date has been set for the sixth round of discussions with Washington.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump suggested potential progress in negotiations with Iran, hinting at a possible announcement related to Iran’s nuclear program within the “next two days.”
