Maysan: The Maysan Governorate Police Command announced the arrest of four suspects accused of carrying out a murder that claimed the life of a university nurse at her workplace in a pharmacy in the governorate, after hours of pursuit.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Command indicated that a special security force was formed following the incident, and a security cordon was imposed around the crime scene. The perpetrators were identified, and their movements were monitored in the same area. Separate pursuit operations were conducted, leading to their arrest.

Initial investigations revealed that the motive for the crime was the victim’s refusal to provide the accused with illegal narcotic medication. The suspects have been taken to the security detention center for legal action.
