Basra: The prices of Basra heavy and medium crude oils recorded a decline despite the rise in oil prices in global markets. The price of Basra heavy crude fell 40 cents to $61.60, while the price of medium crude fell 40 cents to $64.10.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the price of Brent crude rose this morning to $64.56 per barrel, and West Texas Intermediate crude rose to $61.38 per barrel. This divergence in price trends highlights the unique market dynamics affecting Basra crude, contrasting with the upward movement observed in other major global oil benchmarks.
