Baghdad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi commented on Thursday on reports indicating that a nuclear agreement with Washington is close. Araqchi wrote on the X platform. “The media is speculating about an imminent agreement between Iran and America. I am not sure if we have reached this goal yet.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi emphasized that Iran is serious about reaching a diplomatic solution that serves the interests of all parties. He noted that achieving this goal requires an agreement that completely lifts all sanctions and supports Iran’s nuclear rights, including enrichment.

Araqchi further stated that the path to an agreement with the United States passes through negotiations, not the media.
