Russian Forces Claim Control Over Three Strategic Towns in Eastern Ukraine


Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that its forces have taken control of three new towns in eastern Ukraine, confirming that they have inflicted heavy casualties on Ukrainian forces.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that units of its military forces were able to take control of the towns of Shevchenko-Perevoy and Gnatovka in Donetsk Oblast, and the town of Stroyivka in Kharkiv Oblast. The statement detailed that the Russian forces inflicted significant losses on Ukrainian troops, with 240 soldiers either wounded or killed, alongside the destruction of four vehicles and three artillery pieces.



The Ministry’s statement further elaborated on the destruction of two electronic warfare stations and an electronic reconnaissance station during the operations. These developments mark a strategic advancement for Russian forces in the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine.
