National Security Advisor and Jordanian Intelligence Service Discuss Counterterrorism Cooperation


Moscow: The National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji held discussions on continued cooperation in combating terrorism with Major General Ahmed Hosni, the head of the Jordanian Intelligence Service. This meeting took place on Thursday during the 13th International Meeting of Senior Officials Responsible for Security Issues in Moscow.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Chancellery’s media office released a statement noting that al-Araji met with Major General Hosni in the Russian capital. The meeting focused on reviewing the overall situation in the region, highlighting the importance of supporting the security and stability of Syria, and discussing continued cooperation in the fight against terrorism.



The Jordanian Intelligence Service expressed its full readiness to coordinate with Iraq on joint issues related to the security and stability of both countries and the region.
