Baghdad: Military Intelligence has successfully apprehended 19 suspects involved in various cases, including terrorism, across several governorates. The arrests were part of a coordinated effort to enhance security and prevent potential threats.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Military Intelligence Directorate conducted precise preemptive operations in different Operations Sectors, specifically Divisions 6, 8, 15, 16, 17, 22, and the Baghdad Operations Division. These operations involved a series of ambushes and security tasks, carried out in coordination with other intelligence agencies, to target individuals suspected of criminal activities.

The operations led to the arrest of three individuals wanted under Article 1/4 of the Terrorism Law. Additionally, 16 other suspects were detained under various other legal charges. All apprehended individuals have been handed over to the competent authorities to proceed with the necessary legal procedures against them.
