Istanbul: A Turkish diplomatic source confirms Ankara’s readiness to host a new round of talks between Russia and Ukraine. A Turkish diplomatic source confirmed that Ankara is prepared to facilitate another round of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul, although specific dates have not yet been agreed upon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish diplomatic source stated, “When have we been against it? We are always ready. But there are no specific details regarding the dates yet.” The recent round of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations took place in Istanbul and lasted for over an hour.

The discussions were led by high-ranking officials from both nations. The Russian delegation was headed by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky and included Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kostyukov, and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side was led by Defense Minister Rustam Amirov.
