Baghdad: Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, has reiterated the House’s dedication to carrying out its legislative and oversight responsibilities while closely supervising the operations of service departments.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from Abdullah’s office detailed that he hosted a delegation of sheikhs, dignitaries, and notable individuals from various ethnicities and sects in Khanaqin and neighboring regions at his office in Baghdad. Discussions centered around the general conditions and service levels in their communities.

Abdullah emphasized the importance of the House of Representatives in fulfilling its legislative and oversight roles to ensure the provision of essential services to citizens nationwide.
