Baghdad: Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani emphasized the strong ties between Iraq and Italy, particularly in cultural domains.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Badrani made these remarks during the official ceremony hosted by the Italian Embassy in Baghdad in celebration of the 79th Italian National Day. He was joined by Qasim Al-Sudani, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Arts Affairs, and Ali Obaid Shalgam, Head of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, along with several political, cultural, and diplomatic dignitaries.

Al-Badrani underscored the necessity for collaborative efforts to bolster bilateral cooperation in culture, antiquities, and the arts.
