Tehran: The Iranian Labor News Agency quoted Iranian police Spokesman Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi as saying on Wednesday that police forces seized 14 drones and identified hostile drone production workshops and drone-carrying vehicles in various provinces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iran and Israel are launching new missile strikes against each other as the air war between the two adversaries enters its sixth day despite US President Donald Trump’s call for Iran’s unconditional surrender. The Israeli military reported that two barrages of Iranian missiles were fired toward Israel in the first two hours of Wednesday morning, with explosions heard in the skies over Tel Aviv.

In response, Israel urged residents of the Tehran area to evacuate so its air force could strike Iranian military installations. Reports from Iranian news websites indicated that Israel was targeting a university linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in the east of the capital. Additionally, the Khojir ballistic missile facility near Tehran, previously targeted by Israeli airstrikes last October, was reportedly under attack.

The US Office of the Director of National Intelligence notes that Iran possesses the largest number of ballistic missiles in the Middle East. Iran maintains that its ballistic missiles serve as a crucial deterrent and retaliatory force against the United States, Israel, and other potential regional adversaries.
