Basra Oil Company Denies Halting Oil Exports from Ports Due to Middle East Tensions


Basra: Basra Oil Company denied news circulated by some media outlets today about a nine-day halt in oil exports from Basra ports due to tensions in the Middle East linked to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, according to these outlets.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company clarified in a statement: “This news is completely untrue, and oil exports are continuing from our oil ports according to the normal rates of our OPEC quota.”



The company called on all media outlets to rely on official sources when obtaining and publishing news.
