Al-Sudani Voices Iraq’s Stance Against Airspace Violations in Meeting with British Ambassador


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed Iraq’s rejection of the violation of its airspace sovereignty and its use in the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office revealed that Al-Sudani received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq, for discussions on regional developments, joint cooperation, and bilateral relations. The meeting focused on enhancing and developing mutual interests between the two countries.



Al-Sudani reiterated Iraq’s stance against the infringement of its airspace, highlighting that such actions pose a threat to international peace and security. He urged major powers, particularly members of the Security Council, to take action to halt the aggression against Iran and address the daily violence in Gaza. The Prime Minister also emphasized the critical need for humanitarian aid to reach besieged civilians.
