Najaf: The Najaf Governorate Police deployed dozens of checkpoints across the governorate in search of three prisoners who managed to escape from a juvenile prison in the city center.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source stated that “the three prisoners managed to escape through a small opening in an open area, taking advantage of the morning sunshine.” The source further indicated that “one of the three prisoners is accused of murder, and the other two are accused of theft.”
