Vienna: Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has confirmed that the agency’s reports do not provide a basis for military action against Iran. Grossi emphasized that the decision to engage in war is a political one and not supported by technical findings from the IAEA.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Grossi explained that the latest report from the IAEA does not present new information and does not suggest an ongoing systematic program in Iran aimed at developing nuclear weapons. He noted that while there were activities related to nuclear weapons production in Iran during the early 2000s, these activities are no longer present today.

Grossi further expressed the agency’s concerns regarding Iran’s lack of comprehensive responses to all inquiries posed by the IAEA. Nevertheless, he highlighted that there is no evidence pointing to current military nuclear activities in Iran.
