The hack follows recent missile strikes targeting Tel Aviv that resulted in the destruction of several buildings.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media outlets reported that Iranian operatives managed to infiltrate and compromise the camera systems, which are internet-connected, to collect significant intelligence data. This breach has raised serious concerns about cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the region.

The incident has prompted a former Israeli cybersecurity official to issue a public warning on public radio, urging residents to disable their home surveillance cameras or at least change their passwords to prevent unauthorized access. The call to action highlights the growing threat of cyberattacks and the need for increased security measures to protect sensitive information.
