Geneva: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced that he will meet today, Friday, with the foreign ministers of the European Troika countries (Britain, France, and Germany), as well as Kaya Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, in Geneva.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting came at the request of the three European countries and will focus on political developments and bilateral and regional issues of common interest. Esmail Baghaei, Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, outlined the program of Araqchi’s visit to Geneva, emphasizing discussions on the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions.

Baghaei further mentioned that plans are underway for a joint meeting with the three European countries and the EU’s foreign policy chief. This meeting is set to address the nuclear issue and recent developments in the region, specifically in light of the Zionist attacks on Iran.
