Cairo: Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, strongly condemned on Friday the continued aggression of the Zionist entity against the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that the Zionist entity seeks to drag the region to the brink of explosion.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar released a statement expressing his strong condemnation of the actions taken by the Zionist entity. He highlighted concerns over what he described as systematic attacks and continuous rampage by the Zionist entity, which he believes aim to provoke a regional explosion and ignite a comprehensive war.

The Grand Imam criticized the international community’s inaction, suggesting that their silence equates to complicity in these acts of aggression. He warned that such inaction only serves to threaten global security, emphasizing that war is not a path to peace.
