Geneva: French Foreign Minister Jean-No«l Barrot announced that Iran has informed us of its desire to negotiate regarding the nuclear program. Following the conclusion of a meeting of the European Troika foreign ministers with the Iranian foreign minister in Geneva, the French foreign minister said that the talks with Iran aim to de-escalate the situation in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the French foreign minister confirmed that Araghchi is ready to continue discussions regarding the nuclear issue and other matters.
