Kirkuk: Kirkuk Governor, Rebwar Taha, received the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), Mohammed Al-Hassan. During the meeting, which was attended by members of the Provincial Council, Nashat Shaho Wiz and Hoshyar Agha Al-Kaki, the political, service, and economic conditions in Kirkuk were discussed.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, discussions included the administration and Provincial Council’s efforts to combat climate change, use renewable energy, support the education sector, and develop the agricultural sector and groundwater. There was also a focus on revitalizing and improving the investment landscape, highlighting its importance in implementing projects and providing job opportunities.
