Vienna: Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, confirmed that the situation at Iranian nuclear facilities has been monitored since the start of the Israeli attacks. In a briefing to the Security Council, Grossi stated that the attacks on Iran have resulted in a significant deterioration in security and safety at nuclear facilities across the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Grossi detailed that while there is currently no radioactivity threatening civilians, the potential for such a threat exists, and the IAEA is closely monitoring the situation. Grossi further announced that the electrical infrastructure at the Natanz uranium enrichment facility in Iran was specifically targeted during the attacks.

Additionally, Grossi confirmed that four buildings at the Isfahan site were damaged by the Israeli assaults. He noted that a centrifuge building also suffered damage during these attacks. Grossi expressed concern that the attack on the Bushehr facility could lead to environmental damage, emphasizing the grave consequences given the presence of nuclear materials at the site.
