Tehran: A number of Iranian parliament members demanded on Wednesday that Israel and the United States pay compensation for the attacks launched by the two countries against Iranian nuclear and military sites during the 12-day war that ended on Tuesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a member of the Iranian parliament’s presidium, Alireza Salimi, stated during a parliamentary session that “Israel and the United States must be required to pay compensation to Iran for the losses it incurred during the recent 12-day military aggression.”

Salimi added that “the attacks launched by the Israeli regime, as well as the US attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, require serious legal and diplomatic action,” emphasizing “the need to hold both parties legally responsible and consider them the aggressors.”

He further asserted, “Iran must be required to receive compensation for the material and strategic damage caused to its infrastructure, especially in the nuclear sector, as a result of the aggression.”

These statements emerge amid political efforts within the Iranian parliament to push the government to take legal and international action against Israel and America, as Tehran continues to document the extent of the damage and losses resulting from the attacks.
