Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani inaugurated the Construction Basket Project, also known as Construction Cooperation. This initiative is implemented by the General Company for Construction Materials Trade at the Ministry of Trade, in partnership with the private sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the project’s aim is to enhance the cooperation between public and private sectors, focusing on the trade and distribution of construction materials. This collaboration is expected to streamline the availability and accessibility of essential materials for ongoing and future construction projects.

The inauguration marks a significant step towards improving infrastructure and supporting economic development within the country. The partnership with the private sector is seen as a strategic move to leverage resources and expertise, ensuring the project’s success and sustainability.
