Vienna: Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, called on Tuesday for the immediate resumption of nuclear verification activities in Iran. Grossi emphasized the need for inspections to continue, following recent disruptions caused by attacks on several nuclear sites in the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Grossi stated in a press release that despite the suspension of inspections due to the attacks, the technical team remains stationed in Iran. They are prepared to promptly resume verification at critical facilities, which includes assessing the uranium content enriched to 60 percent.

Grossi highlighted that the attacks on the Arak, Isfahan, Fordow, and Natanz nuclear sites resulted in substantial damage. However, he assured that there were no signs of increased radiation levels outside the sites or in neighboring regions.
