Gaza: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of child martyrs due to malnutrition has risen to 66 children, due to the closure of crossings, the tightening of the blockade, and the prevention of the entry of milk, nutritional supplements, and food.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the office stated that this behavior constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity, revealing the Israeli occupation’s deliberate use of starvation as a weapon to exterminate civilians, especially children, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.
The office strongly condemned this ongoing crime against childhood in the Gaza Strip, denouncing the international silence regarding the suffering of children left to endure hunger, disease, and slow death. It held the “Israeli” occupation fully responsible for this catastrophe and also held countries supporting and complicit in the crime of genocide, primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, accountable for their actual participation in these grave violations.
The office called on the international community, the United Nations, and Arab and Islamic countries to urgently intervene and pressure the occupation to open the crossings immediately, allow the entry of food and medical supplies, and save the remaining children and patients before it is too late.
