Baghdad: Deputy Speaker of Parliament Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed convened with key tribal leaders from the Middle Euphrates at his office in Baghdad. The meeting included discussions with Sheikh Jamal al-Battikh, Sheikh Raed Nayef al-Mubarak, and Sheikh Basim Mohsen Trad. Prince Ezz al-Arab al-Humairi, Advisor to the Deputy Speaker for Tribal Affairs, was also in attendance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discourse focused on the country's general situation, the challenges currently faced, and the activities of the House of Representatives in the fourth legislative year. Critical issues like the lack of services and water scarcity in certain regions were highlighted, with an emphasis on the tribes' role in maintaining social peace and enhancing stability.

Deputy Speaker Shakhwan Abdullah stressed the importance of reaching out to state institutions and government departments to ensure the provision of essential services to citizens.
