Baghdad: More than 90 members of the House of Representatives have expressed their support for withdrawing government lawsuits concerning the Khor Abdullah Agreement. These lawsuits were initially submitted by the Presidency of the Republic and the Prime Minister’s Office to the Federal Court, aiming to invalidate the draft law associated with the agreement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, parliamentary circles have disclosed that 91 MPs have collected signatures in favor of retracting these legal actions. The move reflects a significant level of parliamentary backing for revisiting the government’s stance on the Khor Abdullah Agreement, a matter that has seen extensive political and legal discussions.
