Kuwaiti Border Guards Did Not Open Fire on Iraqi Youths, Ministry of Interior States


Kuwait city: The Ministry of Interior has officially refuted claims that Kuwaiti border guards fired upon a group of Iraqi youths near the border strip.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry issued a statement addressing the circulating reports on social media that alleged an incident involving Kuwaiti border guards, which purportedly resulted in the death of one individual and the injury of another. The Ministry firmly denied these claims, emphasizing that the Iraqi-Kuwaiti border remains stable and secure, with no recorded incidents of such nature.



The Ministry urged both media outlets and social media users to prioritize accuracy and avoid spreading rumors. It recommended reliance on official sources for news and security updates to ensure the dissemination of verified information.
