Baghdad: Civil Defense teams battled a fire that broke out at a gas station near Khanaqin District in Diyala Governorate. A Civil Defense source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) correspondent that a fire broke out at a gas station located on the Khanaqin-Kalar road, northeast of Baqubah, due to an electrical short circuit.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense teams rushed to the scene and were able to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings. He indicated that the damage was limited to material losses, with no human casualties.
